A response to "How Free is God's Will?"

Over at Siris, Brandon Watson has posted a response to my post "How Free is God's Will?". He makes some good points--although I don't think they undermine my conclusion--and I expect to post a response of my own soon.

It seems that while Brandon definitely has his point, those arguing for God as the source of all typically see this as answering the necessary question of why there is something rather than nothing. That is many presentations of God do present him in terms of a set of necessary causes. (Not efficient causation - more in terms of logical necessity)
